About LinkBacksMy roommate got this in the mail today from American Express for $50 off two entrees at Ruth's Chris steakhouse. Has anyone else got this in the mail?
I have the American Express Simply Cash card and did not get this. My roommate though has only had an Amex a couple months and has gotten promos like this left and right. Do you think it's worth getting the card he does just so I can get these coupons too? A $50 dinner certificate for steaks, free movie tickets, etc. in addition to his rewards sounds like a good deal. He hardly spends anything either so he must really be getting a lot of bang for his buck. He only has the American Express Blue Cash card.
Should I get this just so I can ge these free certificates/coupons too? Do you think this would work even though my name isn't on it?

Ruth's Chris? Now that's a mouthful! Why not just call it Chris or Ruth?
I went to their website and it looks like they have have a couple hundred restaurants. Funny I've never head of them. There's one by me in Mauna Lani. I might need to get myself that card to get these promos.

I had dinner on Ruth's Chris before it's a top notch place. I'm vegetarian but the have on entree that is grilled portobello mushrooms on top of grilled asapargas, mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes, and other vegetables all on one plate.... it was YUMMY! There were a ton of sides too I could have got too. Fifty should be almost enough to pay for two entrees.

I have the Blue Cash card but I never received this coupon in the mail. I stopped using that card regularly about 15 months ago but I still dust it off every few months and put a couple purchases on it.
Shouldn't I still be receiving coupons?

I'd be curious to know if a printoff would qualify for this promotion or perhaps if American Express has sent an email link with the coupon for print?

It seems to be some kind of Promo from Amex. Certain Cardholder get that from Blue all the way up to Plat. Not sure about Cent. One guy on another chatboard mentioned that he got a $75 for his Biz Plat. I have not received one yet and I really love this place which is probably the reason why I have not received one

This is an excellent opportunity I have ate at Ruth's Chris on more than one occasion and impressed with the quality. Do they send out promos such as this on a regular basis for that card?

I finally received mine this past week. It looks like they must have staggered their mailings of these. That was likely at the request of the restaurant so Amex cardmembers wouldn't all flood their restaurants at the same time for free meals.
