Default How long for Amex to deliver Centurion Card?

I am hoping someone can tell me how long it took Amex to deliver their Centurion Card? I have been told 7-10 days and asked for it to be sooner. They said they would do their best. Looking for someones experiences? Thanks.

7 to 10 days? Didn't they offer you overnight shipping?

Here in the US they offer overnight shipping even on the free American Express cards so I would think they should offer it on the Centurion but who knows- maybe they do it different there.

Hmmm, in Switzerland they don't even tell you you're getting one - they just arrive to your house in a very nice rosewood box. You just sign that you accept the card (and the subsequent annual fee) and start using it. They're good to go - the letter states that if you start using the card(s) (you get both personal and business together), you are subject to the terms and conditions (i.e. the annual charge).

That is unusual. I would imagine many who receive the Centurion card in the mail would decline the offer, but take the cards and put them in the wallet or moneyclip for show. After all, that is often the primary reason this card is so sought after.
