Question how long does amex take to report your CL's?

i recently applied for a discover card, the one on here, and i got a low credit limit. i contacted them and mentioned my other cards as examples of my CL's, most notably my amex which has a 18.5k limit and they said that CL wasn't on my credit reports yet i've had it for nearly a year now. does amex not report your credit limits? i know they may not for charge cards but i that's not what i have, it's a credit card.

The problem isn't about how long it takes American Express to report your credit limit. Sounds like the credit bureau is the one that's making a mistake. Credit cards usually report monthly what's going on with your account so you should find out which of the 3 credit agencies isn't up to date and take it up with them.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.

    Current Cards:
American Express: Blue Cash, Simply Cash Bank of America: WorldPoints Platinum Plus Chase: Amazon, British Airways, Cash Plus Rewards, Freedom, Ink Cash Citi: Thank You Premier, Dividend Platinum Select Discover: More
Primary Everyday Card: American Express Blue Cash
Primary Travel Card: Citi Thank You Premier
