Default What are the rewards on American Express Centurion card?

My guess is the same as the rewards on the Gold and Platinum cards. I doubt they give you any extra percent cash back or for points. Yeah I know they give you gift certificates once in a while but crap you're paying a $5000 initiation fee and $2500 annual fee so they better be throwing you a few freebie gift cards a year I would think

American Express sent me a Canon Powershot camera when I opened a Centurion card at the end of last year. I've heard friends getting gift cards for $1000 to $2000, designer bags, and other gifts too. Haven't been a cardholder long enough to know if the really big gifts are every year or just upon sign-up. Makes the black card worth the price.

Must be nice having a black card. Wish I had one

Have you used the concierge on the card yet? How crazy of stuff with they do that you ask of them? I've heard people making insane requests just to see if they will and they still do it.

I really would want to know if they can snag you sold out concerts or backstage passes and that kind of stuff. THAT would be worth it!!!!!

I've used the Centurion concierge but for nothing too complicated, things like reservations, travel arrangements, and things like that. I've had no complaints about them but then again I wasn't giving them any complicated tasks to complete.

The practice some people do have making absurd requests is pointless, in the end they are shooting themselves in the foot. Their annual fee to American Express for the Centurion card pays for this concierge. If these concierges become overextended, you can bet Amex will hire more, and in turn, raise the annual fee to cover the additional labor.

From what I've seen the rewards on the Centurion card are the exact same as the gold and platinum cards they have. In that case I say what's the point of paying $7,500 for the annual fee??? What to have a metal credit card???

The centurion is the biggest waste of money ever!!
