Hey everyone,

Just started reading these forums today when debating whether or not upgrading to a Platinum Card is worth it. As a full-time student with a Gold and Blue card I've decided to hold off based on the good facts that I've read.

My question is as follows:

Something I've always wondered is, because the Gold Card is a "charge card" does it actually show up on a credit report and does it affect (improve) ones credit score.
