Default Wasteful Spending by Government Employees using CC's!!!!!!

Dateline did a thing about his and it is disgusting what OUR OWN GOVERNMENT is spending on their employee credit cards!!!!!!

    - iPods
    - a $13,500 dinner....
    - a DEA employee spent $360 on lingerie to wear during a "jungle training mission" in Aruba........ YEAH RIGHT!!!!!
    - a postal worker used his card for online dating memberships
    - millions in cash advances on the cards!

The worst part was they said when they're caught the feds only tell them to pay it back and that's it. They don't even get a slap on the wrist! WHat motivation do they have to not do it?!!?!?!

I can't even afford to drive my car and they have free for all credit cards they can use for whatever?!?!

Revolting but at the same time not surprising considering it is the federal government. By not taking disciplinary action they are only encouraging this behavior.

This is no different than if they stole that money from a government bank account. Why they are not being punished makes zero sense to me.

    It's stealing plain and simple.

If we cut out all the wasteful and fraudulent spending our budget would be cut in half. It could be cut to a quarter if it wasn't for all the interest we are paying on that damn national debt.

Why haven't our politicians mentioned anything about this type of wasteful spending. After seeing tonights debate I'm angry with the both of them. I'm sick of this back and forth bullcrap when we have real issues to address. No one cares about Bill Ayers or Joe the plumber. It's time for our politicians to get back to the issues or they will alienate us again like I'm starting to feel.

I would like to see the surface scratched on business credit cards issued to executives also.

I'd be willing to bet they are piling personal purchases on them. That would be compensation that is not reported as such and certainly not taxed. I have known of even middle management that put their personal gas purchases, date dinners, and other personal expenses on their business cards without blinking an eye.

Yeah business cards are notoriously used fraudulently at least once in a while. I use to know someone that would use their company's card every time they ate out and claimed it was a business meeting.

When you think about it it's actually really sad this type of credit card fraud is so widespread.

My dad had a gas card for his work to use for the company van and that SCUMBAG would use it for everything including his wife's car! (his third wife at that!)

He worked in healthcare which we all know is one big scam so no big surprise there!
