Squeaky Wheel Gets The Oil
First of all forget about dealing with the girlfriend. Lost cause. Sit down and write a passive aggressive letter to the company explaining that your card was used without your consent. Let them know that you are sure they are a reputable company and this was just an oversight. Explain that you would like corrected immediately. Request the exact dollar amount, and that you expect it sent via certified funds. make sure and include your credit card info as well as billing statements. Also include all contact information. Let them know you are to be contacted with any questions or problems. If you want your money make it professional looking. If you do this well I give you a 60% chance of full recovery. If you want a template PM me.

What Alsteig suggested is not going to work. If you notified the CC company that the gf was an authorized user then you are responsible for all charges she made until the time when you notified them that she no longer is.

I am not saying write the letter to the CC company. I am saying write the letter to the game company that charged you. Yes it will work.

I totally agree with you but you can not fight for this case. The ways you gave your credit card to your Ex-girl friend it was not right and after that you didn't check your bills too. If you shifted from old place you could inform issuing bank but it didn't happen. You can not raise chargeback also because it is against you only. The law of credit card comes under issuing bank locality, You just inform bank and try to get the details bill wise.
