    Arrow having multiple Discover cards?

    Hello,

I have an Advanta businesscard (but it's a sole proprietorship under my name and social) and recently I was smacked with a 40% rate hike. For no apparent reason either there's nothing that has changed with my credit. Apparently they just wanted to make an excuse to get rid of my 0% for 15 months offer.

I have a Discover More card but I want to get another Discover credit card to put my balance from Advanta on. Does anyone know if Discover has any rules about having multiple cards? I looked over credit card forum and saw stuff about multiple Citi cards, etc. but nothing about having multiple Discover cards.

If anyone knows please let me know. I want to get this balance switched over before the end of the week.

    Thanks

Default You can have at least 3 Discover cards.

Don't quote me on this but I think you can have 3 Discover cards, if you have acceptable credit for them. I know people that has a Discover business card and two personal cards - there's 3 right there.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.

Why would you even want to have more than one from Discover. They got the tiered rewards for the more you spend so you'd wouldn't want to break up your spending. My wife has got the Discover More card and we were thinking of doing the Open Road too but we decided to stick with one card. That way we get the highest bracket of points you know.
