What’s the annual fee?
Unlike most airline/travel credit cards, the Miles card by Discover has no annual fee.

How do you earn miles?
  • You earn two miles for every dollar you spend on restaurant and travel purchases, up to $3,000 per year (and one mile per dollar after that)

How do you redeem miles?
With most credit cards, you have to book your reward tickets through an in-house travel agent. As you can guess, in-house travel agents are not the best bargain-hunters!   • Lost and damage luggage – up to $2,500 additional coverage in the event your luggage is lost or damaged while flying
  • Car rental collision damage waiver insurance – In the event your normal car insurance doesn’t cover you, the Miles card provides up to $25,000 in collision coverage on most rental vehicles
  • Flight accident insurance – In the event of the unthinkable, get up to $500,000 in flight accident insurance on all eligible airfare purchased with your card.
