Thumbs down US Air card- terrible service

Had a call from an associate with my US Air card that I had a late payment. Checked my records while she was on phone and she was right. Associate told me that if I made the payment on the phone, I would be refunded the late fee and my interest rate would not go up. I have had this card 4 years with no other late payments. I agreed and low and behold 1 week later I got a letter that said my rate was going up to 30%. Even though the notes from the associate that called me were in my file, they refused to recind the higher interest rate. I told them to cancel my card and I would just pay off the balance. So I cut the card in half, sent them a check from my equity line and paid it in full. Miserable customer service. Will never use them again.

I think I heard some bad stuff about that card too. But I don't have it myself so I don't have any personal experience with them.
