My family decided to skip gift exchanges this year (except giving them to the kids) because the economy sux and we are poor LOL! That means my credit card bill will be super low this month
How much did everyone else spend compared to other years???

OBAMA
Stop talking crap about him!
We spent $0. Well close to it. No gift exchange, but we have no kids. We are on trip to Hawaii though. Airfare $10 using frequent flyer miles earned on a card. Hotel free because we own a rental condo we are using. Food is about all we are buying.
My family also had limited gift exchange this year. At the end of the day, gifts are not what Christmas is about anyway. The last few decades the retail industry has done a good job at persuading us the purpose is buying instead. Even if you have plenty of money, refocusing on the true meaning behind the holiday isn't a bad idea.
