Default Need answers to those who know..

Hi! I made a purchase on the internet using my friends credit card ( with his permission of course..). But, the problem is, i put my name, address, etc on the billing information rather than to put my friends information because he is the one who owns the credit card. Will a money be deducted to my friends credit card or will it fail to charge?

    The transaction will probably fail.

No, it depends on how the merchant submits the charges. If they use AVS (address verification system) then the transaction will almost certainly fail. If they use other means then it could go through but possibly with a higher discount fee to the merchant. Usually when you buy online the approval is immediate. If the card was accepted then you're fine. Your friend could also check his account a few days later and see if the charge posted.
