    Default Signing a receipt

I want to know if there are any problems with me signing a receipt of a credit card charge from my wife's Discover card. I am not on her account in any way, Discover doesn't even have my SSN and I don't have a separate account with them. My wife and I keep separate credit profiles.

So what if we authorize a charge on her discover card, I would think that I am not allowed to sign for her but if I do, would we be allowed to dispute that charge in the future, if we wanted, on the basis that the card holder didn't signing a receipt?

    Thanks.

Why would you want to dispute the charge if it is yours?
