Thread: Chris Brown/Rihanna

What do you all think of this mess? The both were the #1 selling male and female with their type of music you know. He goes and beats the crap out of her and that kind of concerns me with him being an endorsement favorite of campaigns like Got Milk and Wrigley's Gum.

From the other thread it looks like you guys are pissed about the Phelps/bong but if I were you I would be more pissed about Chris Brown. Would you rather have your kid's role model be a swimmer who smoked a bong or a hip hop star that beat his girlfriend to a bloody pulp? It makes Phelps look like an angel.

I dont know a thing about who this Chris Brown character is but if he was my son I would take him out back and beat the living daylight out of him for doing that.

If I got it right, Chris Brown was a victim of domestic violence back in his childhood days. So, I really can't say that he is that mean. Maybe, his experience made him that way.

I remember an interview he had on the Tyra Banks Show way back in 2007. He actually confessed to seeing his mom being beaten by her boyfriend. He was visually abused from age 7 up until he was 13. I have also heard of a lot of people who went through domestic violence when they were at a young age, and admitted to committing the same crime on their spouses or children. So I guess that explains it all. Sad, but it's a fact of life.
