Default Best Rewards Program for Club Store Purchases (Sams, Costco, etc.)

    Hey everyone,

I am need of a good rewards credit card for my purchases at Sam Club or Costco. I am a convenient store owner and make daily bulk purchases at these clubs to stock my store. I have struggled to find a good card, preferably looking for an airline miles card. The majority of reward cards either don't give me credit for Club store purchases or give me half points.
If anyone has any advice for me I would really appreciate it. I am losing out on a lot of reward points, I make about 10,000 in purchases everyday 2-3 days and would like to capitalize on my rewards. I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Thank you very much!

    Fahad

If you are spending $1.5M a year on your card as it seems, I would suggest the platinum or black card. You would get better rewards and the higher annual fees would be insignificant. But what Alsteig said is right also. If you won't take advantage of the plat rewards.

Like Alsteig said the Amex for Costco. If you shop at Sams Club they only take Discover and the best one to benefit you would be something like the Discover More.

Why does Sams Club only accept Discover credit cards?

Because of an exclusivity arrangement between Sams Club and Discover. It's similar to the arrangement between American Express and Costco.

Oh. How long will the exclusivity agreements go on for?

As long as Amex and Costco are married my money would be on Discover and Sam's Club staying married too for competitive reasons.

If one of the partnership ends then I think the other may consider, but Sam's Club or Costco would have to make the first move before the other would ever follow.

The warehouse club partnerships are very lucrative for both the credit card and the store. The agreements are for multi-year durations and billions of dollars.
