Orbitz credit card: any good?
I am considering Orbitz credit card but I read this very disturbing thing about them. Can any one here give me a review? I would like hear a first hand account or whether or not it is any good?
My concern mainly is about the customer service. I have heard a number of different disaster stories over the past couple years with travelers who got screwed over by them while they were on vacation and to make matter worse it was usually when they were in a foreign country. They talk about their hotel not being booked and being without a room or the credit card overcharging them for a higher rate room and the customer service doesn't refund it. This really scares me because the last thing I want to do is run into a disaster when I'm in South America, Malaysia or some other exotic trip.
Can anyone give me some advice? Also what are the rewards on the Orbitz credit card?

If you are worried about support while traveling, go with good old AMEX. Even if their card is not so hot they give fantastic support if you need help while traveling. I have personally used them to get out of slight pickles in foreign countries and they were great. I was not even a card holder.

I was booking a plane ticket tonite on orbitz and during checkout I was offered orbitz credit card points ($100 worth) if I applied and was approved. Should I go through with this? Is this a good deal?
Edit: This was for the Visa Platinum if that matters
