Default Walmarts is at it again

I tell you I could not believe this when I saw the latest scheme Walmarts is cooking up to get credit card customers.

They think a free $1 Coke is going to get you to sign up for a credit card. This is insulting.

hehehe people have got to be idiots to fall for that. A 2 liter of Coke costs like a 99 cents. Worth a hard credit pull on your file? I DONT THINK SO!

Maybe if they gave like 100 bottles it could be worth it.

I've seen stores use $20 gift cards as bribes and I thought those were bad but Wal-Mart trying to bribe you literally with pennies takes it to a whole new level of being pathetic.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.

With the losses store credit cards are taking right now that's probably all they can afford to give out as an incentive now! They got themselves into this mess. The kind of people you get signing up for store charge cards like that on an impulse are not the ones you want to be loaning money to anyway.

All this bad talk about walmart isnt needed. They are a good company. They dont pay good but you dont need to be a rocket scientist to do these jobs no reason they should make a fortune. And the fact of the matter is we get to live better lives because they make prices cheaper.
