    They just came out with a Visa black credit card and get this, the official name for it is actually "BLACK CARD"

    I think while applying and getting approved you are asking yourself "Wow why am I part of the 1%"

    This card is Bull. Just a waste of money and nothing else than another issuer trying to copy the Centurion Card. I don't think that $450 is ok for that kind of card. Well what it all boils down to is just the fact that American Express is Classic. All the others are cheap imitators. Just use the 450 on a Platinum.

    What about the White Card Stratus Reward Visa. Would that card be more prestigous than this new black card? White is the credit card level above black so I would say so.

    i got the Black Visa, what a joke. said carbon fiber, that's supposed to be strong. card is more flimsy than regular cards. I have the Black Amex, still the real.

    I wonder the income and assets requirment for this Visa Black Card ~

    and, AE only makes the 'Centruion" be a trademark,
    so I think the "Black Card" is legal ~

    but the Cneturion is not that easy to be replaced ~

    I get pissed every time I see a black card commercial on tv. This is ridiculous. They make a card that costs more than Amex Platinum and isn't even in the same league. It may also tarnish the reputation of Amex Centurion because most of the people that have only heard of rich people and celebs with the legendary black card but don't know much about it are going to confuse this imitation for it.

    Got My Visa Black Card Yesterday
    Tried To Charge Today At Jones New York Not Exactly Harry And Johnny's Discount Video
    Card Was Refused
    Was Amused By The $195 Charge To Issue My Wife A Card On The Same Account
    Was Not So Amused By The Fact That The Lounge Pass Was Valid For Two Only Once
    Canceled The Card Today
    I Will Stick With My American Express They Know How To Run A Credit Card Company
    Hope I Get My $690 Back But I Doubt It
    Might I Suggest Shorting Barcleys

    I just got my Visa Black Card in the mail today. I must say, I was expecting it to be a "thick/strong" material - it bends the same as a plastic card.. No idea why it says the material is patent pending, give me a break. Hopefully I will at least get some use out of this card

    Would it be possible to post a picture? I would love to see what this thing actually looks like. Of course block out all the numbers on it if you post a pic.
