    Default BOA MyConcierge service?

    Is the MyConcierge service worth it? I'm looking at a BoA World Points Platinum Plus Master Card and it is one of the perks on it. I'm just wondering exactly what it would be good for and if there is some kind of per use fee I would have to pay on it.

    I would be a little hesitant going with anything that is from B of A I don't think there's any per use fee for the concierge on the World Points but I can't imagine its any good. You know there are other free cards out there that have concierge too like the Visa Signature cards. What can they really do for you though? The time it would take to the call them to ask them to call a restaurant to make reservations.... you could have done it yourself

    I know... Since Google introduced their free directory assistance service it has eliminated a lot of the value of these concierge type places. 1-800-GOOG-411 is a great service and very fast. I used it three times on Saturday looking for somewhere to eat that didn't have a two hour wait. lol I just wanted a card with my team logo on it that I can use for things I don't use my AMEX or other card for. In reality I just want a card with the logo. lol I guess I can make one of those myself. I saw the service and was just curious if they really did anything of value. I have coworkers who use the AMEX Platinum card specifically for the access to our Concierge service. They get incredible things accomplished for cardmembers.

    i use GOOG 411 all the time its a good service but i *think* only businesses are listed on it and you cant look up individuals tho

    That is true. It only asks for business and location. It doesn't look up people. That's ok though. I've never needed it to look up a person's name before. It is usually when I'm out and about and want to call ahead to get seating at a restaraunt that GOOG 411 is most useful.
