    Default VISA BMW Credit Card

Does anyone know the difference between European an American VISA BMW Credit Card? I have this card for two years, but on an American website I find out that this is a Platinum Card. Something I didnt knew. Does anyone know anything about this card? Thank you!

Evgenij, this is interesting. I went to the UK site for the BMW credit card and it said this:

Thank you for your interest in the new Card, we value your custom. To find out about other products available from BMW Financial Services please click here.
I tried to locate the site for the Netherlands version but couldn't find it. Do you know of the site?

As far as the card being a platinum that doesn't mean much here in the US. Starting in the nineties they started calling almost every credit card here platinum because it sounds more prestigious but the reality is there's no real difference from standard credit cards.

The American Express Platinum cards are still prestigious. They carry a $450 annual fee, have great benefits and are not issued to everyone.

But pretty much every other platinum card issued by other banks are total crap. There is not much different at all most people wouldn't even be able to name one difference between them.
